Half Price Rail Tickets until February on Atlantic Coast Landslip Line

Train users on a branch line in Cornwall will be able to enjoy discounted travel until the end of February.
Off-peak day returns on the Newquay branch line, known locally as the Atlantic Coast Line, will be half price until February 28.
The discounted tickets can be used on all trains on the Newquay branch line, except for the very first train of the day, operators have said.
The discount is the brainchild of the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership, a non-profit body which works to promote and improve the Atlantic Coast Line and other rural railways in the two counties.
Spokesman Richard Burningham said: "I hope this offer will encourage lots of local people to go for a day trip by train.
"The Atlantic Coast Line is a great way of visiting Plymouth, in particular, and there are lots of other places people can go for half price in Devon and Cornwall too."
Julian Crow, train operator First Great Western's regional manager, said the offer was a thank you to passengers whose travel plans were disrupted at the end of last year due to landslips and heavy weather.
He said: "Like all Cornwall's railways, the Newquay line has been thriving and we would like to tempt even more passengers on board at a time of ever-rising petrol costs."
